Happy Hump Day! If your work day isn’t going so well, compare it to the day Sophie Turner’s character has in the trailer for the new Prime Video crime series Steal. Steal stars Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, The Staircase), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (Bodies, The Queen’s Gambit), and Archie Madekwe (Saltburn, Gran Turismo). All six episodes will be available on January 21, 2026, streaming exclusively on Prime Video. The platform has just released the new suspense-filled trailer just ahead of its premiere.

The official synopsis reads,
“Steal is a contemporary, high-octane thriller about the heist of the century and the ordinary office worker, Zara (Sophie Turner), who finds herself at the heart of it. A typical work day at a pension fund investment company, Lochmill Capital, is upended when a gang of violent thieves burst in and force Zara and her best mate Luke (Archie Madekwe) to execute their demands. Formally titled Haven, the show comes from executive producers Greg Brenman and Rebecca de Souza, producer Nuala O’Leary, and directors Sam Miller and Hettie MacDonald, and is created and written by Sotiris Nikias. Amazon MGM Studios is producing alongside Drama Republic.

Sotiris Nikias is making his television writing debut. However, Nikias is no newcomer. He has written a series of crime novels in the past titled City Blues Quartet. However, he would be credited under the pseudonym of Ray Celestin. Sam Miller, the director of I May Destroy You, is on board to helm the first three episodes of Steal. Miller is also serving as executive producer in addition to directing. Vernon Sanders, who is the head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, professed that Steal is a “uniquely thrilling ride” and will provide a “gripping, addictive, entertaining” story for Prime Video subscribers.

Turner will also continue her working relationship with Amazon after the announcement that she will be starring in Prime Video’s new adaptation of the Tomb Raider series.

After being delayed several months by the writers’ strike and the actors’ strike, season 5 of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things (which is also the last season of the show) finally went into production at the start of 2024 with a twelve-month shooting schedule, wrapping at the end of December. Stranger Things season 5 was released in three parts, with volume one dropping on November 26, 2025, volume two coming along on Christmas Day, 2025, and the series finale on New Year’s Eve. Ryan Murphy is at it again. Now, FX has announced that they will be airing the premiere of his international thriller The Beauty on Wednesday, January 21 – and with that date just a couple of weeks away, a full trailer for the show has dropped online, giving us a preview of just how wild and crazy The Beauty is going to get. Marvel’s Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation Brad Winderbaum says we’re in for a “very sincere, beautiful” show when Wonder Man, which has an episode count of 8, reaches the Disney+ streaming service on January 27th. (All episodes will be available to watch on that date.) We’ve seen a teaser trailer and a full trailer, and now a second full trailer has dropped online to show us a bit more of the show while we wait for the premiere to come around. Wonder Man focuses on one of Marvel’s oldest characters, as title character Simon Williams was introduced back in 1964, in the pages of Avengers #9. “He began his comic book career as a villain but got reintroduced as a hero in the late 1970s. Wonder Man’s civilian name is Simon Williams, and he was a founding member of the Los Angeles-based West Coast Avengers. As an actor and stuntman, Williams’ look included wearing a turtleneck, a red jacket, and sunglasses. Wonder Man strongly relates to Marvel characters Vision and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. The trio shared several adventures, with Wonder Man and Vision thinking of each other as brothers in action. After Vision was dismantled, the villain-turned-hero developed intense feelings for Wanda.”

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Candyman) stars and is joined in the cast by Ben Kingsley, who reprises his Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings role of actor Trevor Slattery; Demetrius Grosse, who plays Simon’s brother, Eric Williams, an Avengers villain from the comics known as the Grim Reaper, and Ed Harris as Simon’s agent, Neal Saroyan. Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton is a producer on the show, with Andrew Guest (Hawkeye) serving as the head writer.

Several months ago, Winderbaum told Collider that Wonder Man is “a very new flavor for Marvel. It’s straight from the minds of Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. Honestly, it is one of my favorite things ever. I think it’s the best show no one’s ever seen, and I’m very excited to see the audience reaction to it. I think it’s a love letter to what we do as filmmakers. It’s a love letter to acting as a profession, and it’s a very sincere, kind of beautiful show.” Winderbaum went on to say that the episode runtimes range from 20-something to 40-something minutes.

New year, new you. And if anyone knows about trying to start over, it’s the good people at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center. Apple TV has just released the new trailer for Shrinking‘s third season. The acclaimed comedy series, which stars Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, will return on January 28, 2026, on Apple TV. It will be followed by one new episode released weekly every Wednesday until the season finale on April 8, 2026.

Shrinking follows a grieving therapist (Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own. In addition to Segel and Ford, the series also stars Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. The new season will bring back guest stars Brett Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Cobie Smulders, but there are some pretty major new additions.

Jeff Daniels will play the father of Segel’s character in a recurring role, and none other than Michael J. Fox will also appear. Details on Fox’s role are unknown, but he’s believed to be tied to Ford’s character, who is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Earlier this summer, Ford praised Fox’s work on the new season. “His willingness to be part of our show is a great source of inspiration and gives us a real purpose. It’s not just us coming together, two actors,” he said. “There’s a story to tell, and our commitment to the story is what joins us together. I appreciate his willingness to be a part of the show.“

Ford added, “When we were together, it was an accomplishment of all of us trying to meet all the ambitions, both obvious and attendant, to the ideas we’re trying to deal with. I’ve done what I could to acquaint myself with the aspects of the disease that I’m portraying, and I’m at a much different stage of the disease.“

Our own Alex Maidy is a big fan of Shrinking. “Emotions and mental health are not always easy topics to handle, and while Ted Lasso found a unique way to deliver positivity through the lens of sports and team camaraderie, Shrinking is a more direct look at the licensed mental health experts in our lives and how their own personal networks of friends and family can help them cope with their own ups and downs,” Maidy wrote. “Shrinking is once again one of the year’s best shows, thanks to Jason Segel and Harrison Ford fronting an ensemble that does not have a single weak spot. The first trailer for the anticipated Malcolm in the Middle revival is officially here! Disney is wrapping up 2025 with a quick look at one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The four-part limited series, Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair comes out on April 10th on Hulu, and now we’ve got a look at the actual premise of the show.

What’s the revival series about?

The revival series, which will consist of just four episodes, will follow Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) and his daughter as they are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party. Malcolm in the Middle creator Linwood Boomer returned to write the revival, with producing director Ken Kwapis set to helm all four episodes.

Who stars in the Life’s Still Unfair limited series?

Original cast members Christopher Materson and Justin Berfield returned as Malcolm’s brothers, Francis and Reese, respectively. As Erik Per Sullivan has left the world of acting behind, he didn’t come back to play Dewey. Instead, Caleb Ellsworth-Clark replaced him. Anthony Timpano plays Jamie, the youngest brother, who is seen as a baby and toddler during the latter portion of the original series. Vaughan Murrae plays Kelly, the baby Lois was pregnant with during the series finale. She is described as “self-sufficient” and “already wiser than most of the family. “

Additionally, Kiana Maderia plays Tristan, Malcolm’s girlfriend, and Keeley Karsten plays Leah, Malcolm’s daughter. Leah will have “the same sarcastic humor, same impulsiveness and the same frighteningly high intelligence” as her father, but is “far more sensitive and emotional.”

Frankie Muniz on his return to acting for the new series

“Just wrapped filming the Malcolm in the Middle reboot, and man, I’m still reeling,” Muniz said about completing the series earlier this year. “This experience was straight-up incredible—like stepping back into Malcolm’s wild world but with all the love and chaos cranked to 11. Reuniting with the cast, getting to know some new characters, laughing till it hurt, and making new memories on set felt like a dream I didn’t want to wake up from. It went by so fast, like a blur of perfect moments. I wish it could go on forever.”

Muniz continued, “I’m so happy to have gotten the chance to relive being on this show with a greater appreciation of what we were making knowing how many people around the world truly love Malcolm and his family. Another big thing I am taking away from this experience is how much I truly love being an actor. I never officially felt like that label fit me, but now I wear that label proudly and hope to do so much more of it in the future. There’s a Young Sherlock TV series coming our way from the Prime Video streaming service – and to clear up any possible confusion before it can arise: no, this is not a series reboot or continuation of the 1985 film Young Sherlock Holmes. Rather, this is an adaptation of the Young Sherlock series of novels that author Andrew Lane started writing in 2010 in response to the success Charlie Higson was having with his series of Young James Bond novels. Guy Ritchie is on board as the director of the first two episodes and an executive producer of all eight episodes of Young Sherlock‘s first season. Ritchie, of course, has prior Sherlock Holmes experience, having directed Robert Downey Jr. as the iconic character in the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes and its 2011 sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, but this show isn’t connected to his movies. Today, it has been announced that all eight episodes of the thrilling series will premiere on March 4, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide – and along with the confirmation of the premiere date comes the unveiling of a teaser trailer, which can be seen in the embed above.

Synopsis

Prime Video lets us know that “this reimagining of the beloved detective, brought to life by visionary director and executive producer Guy Ritchie, charts the origin story of Sherlock Holmes in an irreverent, action-laden mystery that follows the iconic detective’s early adventures.“

Said to have “all the wit and charm of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes feature films,” Young Sherlock tells the origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective in an explosive re-imagining of this iconic character’s early days. Sherlock Holmes is a disgraced young man – raw and unfiltered – when he finds himself wrapped up in a murder case that threatens his liberty. His first ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy that changes his life forever. Unfolding in 1870s Oxford and adventuring abroad, the series will expose the early antics of the anarchic adolescent who is yet to evolve into Baker Street’s most renowned resident.

Cast

Hero Fiennes Tiffin of the After series stars as Sherlock Holmes. Other previously announced cast members of Young Sherlock include Dónal Finn (The Wheel of Time), Zine Tseng (3 Body Problem), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale), Natascha McElhone (Halo), Max Irons (Condor), and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech).

As mentioned, Guy Ritchie directed the first two episodes and executive produces the show. Jim Henson’s famous, adorable creations are returning for an all-new special! Disney+ has just released a new teaser trailer for The Muppet Show — a special event that will air on ABC and stream on Disney+ starting February 4. The special comes from Seth Rogen and Sabrina Carpenter. Carpenter will guest star and serve as an executive producer. Rogen will executive produce along with Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee for Point Grey Pictures. David Lightbody, Leigh Slaughter, and Michael Steinbach executive produce for The Muppets Studio.

The official synopsis reads,
“It’s “The Muppet Show!” Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppet gang are back with a brand-new special event. Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!”

Dave Goelz, who has performed with The Muppets for over 50 years, was one of the performers on the original “The Muppet Show” and originated the characters Gonzo and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, among many others. 

Disney purchased The Muppets back in 2004, and although they’ve had some success with the iconic characters, most notably the 2011 movie starring Jason Segel and Amy Adams, they’ve faltered with small-screen projects. A mockumentary-style series along the same lines as The Office debuted in 2016 but was cancelled after a single season. Muppets Now, an improvisational comedy series, lasted just six episodes. Another show, The Muppets Mayhem, which told the story of the musical group Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, was also cancelled after one season.

There was also Muppets Haunted Mansion, a Disney+ special released in 2021, which stars Gonzo and Pepe as they face the challenge of staying in a haunted mansion for one night. All five seasons of The Muppet Show, which aired from 1976 to 1981, are available to stream on Disney+.

Noah Wyle played the character John Carter on 254 episodes of ER – and earlier this year, sixteen years after ER came to an end, Wyle returned to the world of medical dramas with the HBO Max series The Pitt, where he plays Dr. Michael Robinavitch. His return was well received, as The Pitt received 13 Emmy nominations, with wins for Wyle for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, his co-stars Katherine LaNasa and Shawn Hatosy for their supporting and guest roles (respectively), and the casting. The show also won the Outstanding Drama Series award. Now, The Pitt is ready to continue, with season 2 scheduled for a January 8 premiere – and with that date right around the corner, a full trailer for the season has dropped online! Logline

The Pitt is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh. The show chronicles the urgent challenges U.S. frontline healthcare professionals face through the lens of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s emergency department. Offering a real-time format, the series traces, hour by hour, the medical cases and personal crises physicians and nurses must navigate as they reckon with an overabundance of patients and a lack of resources. While season 1 took place on the day of a major music festival, season 2 will give us a look into the chaos of an emergency room on the Fourth of July.

New episodes of the 15-episode season will premiere on HBO Max weekly, building up to the season finale on April 16.

I haven’t watched the first season of The Pitt yet (to be honest, I barely watched any of ER and can’t say medical dramas are very appealing to me), but I have been a fan of Travis Van Winkle ever since his awesome douchebag performance in Friday the 13th 2009, so the fact that he’s going to be on this show just made it jump up a few spaces on my “to watch” list.

Charles Baker, Irene Choi, Laëtitia Hollard, Lucas Iverson, Lawrence Robinson, Brittany Allen, Bonita Friedericy, Taylor Handley, and Jeff Kober are also in the mix this time around.

The Pitt was created by R. Scott Gemmill, who serves as executive producer alongside Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Jow Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich. John Wells Productions serves as producer in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Today, worlds are officially colliding as Survivor and Beast Games join forces for Beast Games Season 2, courtesy of Prime Video. Presented by Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, the Beast Games Season 2 trailer teases a collaboration between Donaldson and Survivor host Jeff Probst on the coast of Fiji for a fierce competition that could break the bank and end friendships.

What happens in Beast Games Season 2?

For Beast Games Season 2, contestants will “take on a hybrid challenge course that blends Beast Games’ larger-than-life innovation with ‘Survivor’s’ groundbreaking format,” per the press release. “The special incorporates authentic ‘Survivor’ elements — including mid-challenge bribes, strategic twists, and signature physical obstacles — resulting in an episode that seamlessly bridges the worlds of content creators and traditional television.”

While Beast Games Season 1 featured 1,000 competitors, Donaldson wants Season 2 to feel bigger, but also more personal. The Season 2 cast comprises 200 people – 100 of the strongest competitors in the world and 100 of the smartest. Each group will compete for a $5 million prize, as well as bragging rights for rising to the occasion.

“You watch a season of ‘Survivor,’ you get to the end, you know everyone really well. You know their personalities, you know their families,” Donaldson told Variety, who was on set for the crossover. “When you watched Season 1 of ‘Beast Games,’ it’s not really until episode seven or eight that you start to know people, but that’s crazy… In Season 2, we have 200 and get the numbers out very quickly so we can tell these stories.”

Two years have gone by since Prime Video and the BBC officially announced that they were moving forward with two more seasons of the series The Night Manager, with Tom Hiddleston remaining in the lead role. It’s been a long wait, but season 2 of the show is finally ready to premiere on January 11th – and exactly one month out from that date, a trailer for the new episodes has dropped online! Eight Years Later

Created by David Farr and based on a 1993 novel by John le Carré, the first season of The Night Manager saw Hiddleston taking on the role of Jonathan Pine, the night manager of a luxury hotel in Cairo and a former British soldier. Pine is recruited by Angela Burr, the manager of a Foreign Office task force investigating illegal arms sales, to infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Roper. Season 2 will pick up eight years after the events of the first season, moving beyond the story told in the novel.

In addition to Hiddleston, season 2 brings Olivia Colman (The Favourite) back to her BAFTA-winning role as Angela Burr. Also reprising their roles from the first season are Alistair Petrie (Sex Education), Douglas Hodge (Joker), Michael Nardone (Traces), and Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place). Then one night a chance sighting of an old Roper mercenary prompts a call to action and leads Pine to a violent encounter with a new player: Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva). Premiere

The first three episodes of The Night Manager season 2 will premiere on Sunday, January, 11, 2026, on Prime Video, with one new episode releasing every Sunday, until the season finale on Sunday, February 1. All six episodes will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide (excluding the UK) and on BBC and BBC iPlayer in the UK.

Hey Gaang! It’s the return of Netflix’s hit live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The streamer has just released a new teaser trailer for the new season and has confirmed that the show is coming sometime in 2026. The cast for season two will include Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Miya Cech, Elizabeth Yu, Ty Lee and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, with Maria Zhang and Daniel Dae Kim. More information is sure to drop later.

Netflix announced in last year that Miya Cech would play Toph Beifong for the series, much to the delight of fans. Toph Beifong is a blind teenager who (eventually) agrees to train Aang in the ancient art of earth-bending. According to the Casting Call: “She is sassy, confident and unfiltered. For most of her life her strength and formidable earthbending skills have been suppressed, but now on the run as the Avatar’s earthbending master she is uninhibited to become the fierce warrior she believes she is inside.”

In The Boys Season 5 teaser trailer, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) rallies his team – Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capone), and Kimiki Miyashiro (Karen Fukuhara) for one last confrontation against Homelander (Anthony Starr) and others who would see the world go to ruin. The nature of Padalecki’s character remains a mystery, although he looks rather stylish in his tracksuit. Keke Palmer (Nope) stars in and executive produces the series and is joined in the cast by Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise), Julia Duffy (Newhart), Paula Pell (Girls5eva), Mark Proksch (What We Do In The Shadows), Kapil Talwalkar (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist), Haley Joel Osment (Tusk), RJ Cyler (The Harder They Fall), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Kyrie McAlpin (Cheaper by the Dozen), Danielle Kennedy (Man on the Inside), and Randy Oglesby (For All Mankind).

Celeste Hughey (Palm Royale, Dead to Me) is writing and executive producing the series. Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple, with Palmer playing the wife, returning to the husband’s (Whitehall) childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.

In addition to Palmer and Hughey, executive producers on the show include Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner, and Natalie Berkus for Imagine Entertainment, Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins, and Aimee Carlson for Fuzzy Door, and Rachel Shukert. Dana Olsen, the writer of the 1989 film, Amy Aniobi, Zora Bikangaga, and Neil Reynolds serve as co-executive producers. Nzingha Stewart (Daisy Jones & The Six) directed the first episode and is another executive producer. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio behind the series.

Filming took place in Los Angeles at the same location as the original film, the backlot of Universal Studios Hollywood.

The original The ‘Burbs was directed by Joe Dante. When asked for his reaction to the TV series announcement, Dante said, “I think my actual comment was, ‘How are they going to make a whole TV series out of that story?’ As opposed to, ‘I want to be the one to do it. ’Good luck to them. It’s kind a one-off story…It’s always nice when things have a shelf life.“

Netflix whets the appetites of The Night Agent fans with a little teaser trailer from the upcoming third season. Creator Shawn Ryan (The Shield, S.W.A.T.) leads the show as the showrunner and executive producer with his MiddKid Productions. Series regulars Gabriel Basso, Louis Herthum, Stephen Moyer, Callum Vinson, David Lyons, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Jennifer Morrison, Albert Jones, Ward Horton and Genesis Rodriguez are set to make a return. It was previously reported that Luciane Buchanan will not be joining this time around.

Ryan told Netflix’s Tudum, “Season 3 of The Night Agent takes our audience on an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride across Istanbul, Mexico City, Washington, D.C., New York and the Dominican Republic as Peter grapples with a dangerous conspiracy at the heart of the White House… Amidst these new characters and challenges, Peter will reckon with hard truths and confront the impact of what being a Night Agent has personally cost him and how it has changed him, for better and for worse.”

Although our own Alex Maidy wasn’t a big fan of the first season, he found the second “to be a substantial improvement in every way.” Maidy continued, “The directing continues to be solid, but the writing has been punched up significantly, giving us well-rounded heroes and villains and a season-long arc with a satisfying conclusion while still setting up what will come in the third season. Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan make a hell of a pair of protagonists. They are surrounded by an improved ensemble cast that balances multiple storylines that connect for an engaging and exciting television season. Two years ago, we got to visit the set of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. During our visit, we saw live displays of how the talented performers create the magic. When we arrived, EP John Tartaglia led us humans through the adventure. The afternoon began with the “Fabrication Room,” where we looked at the creation of Fraggles. Scott Johnson and Alex “Jurgen” Ferguson gave us insight into how complex of a job it was to bring the Fraggles to life. And yes, we could see these beautiful creatures up close and personal. As a long-time muppet fan, it makes me happy to see the imaginative world from its early stages.

After being delayed several months by the writers’ strike and the actors’ strike, season 5 of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things (which is also the last season of the show) finally went into production at the start of 2024 with a twelve-month shooting schedule, wrapping at the end of December. We’ve heard that series creators the Duffer Brothers have been working hard to get the season ready for release by the end of the year – and now we know exactly when the premiere date is. Netflix recently announced that Stranger Things season 5 will be released in three parts, with volume one on November 26, 2025, volume two on Christmas Day, 2025, and the series finale on New Year’s Eve, with each volume being released at 8pm Eastern time. With just two days to go before the premiere of volume one, a trailer for this first batch of episodes has dropped online and can be viewed in the embed above.

More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft continues to explore ancient mysteries and uncover lost truths across breathtaking and dangerous destinations.

The Prime Video TV series adaptation of the popular Fallout video game franchise already had a second season in the works before the first season even started streaming – which turned out to be a good move, because Fallout quickly became Prime Video’s second most-watched title (after The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), drawing in 65 million viewers in its first 16 days of release. Fallout season 2 started filming about a year ago, aiming for a December 17 premiere. Now, with that date just one month away, a new trailer for the season has arrived online and can be seen in the embed above.

Like the video games on which it is based, the “Fallout” series is set in a world where the future envisioned by Americans in the late 1940s explodes upon itself through a nuclear war in 2077. The TV series is telling an original story that is set in the world of the video games and will be canon to the game franchise. The story of the first season plays out in and around a fallout shelter in Los Angeles called Vault 33. According to The Hollywood Reporter, season 2 will be “a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.” New Vegas is a popular location in the video game franchise

In addition to Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout 4, the video game series also consists of the spin-offs Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 76, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, Fallout Shelter, and Fallout Pinball. The first game takes place 219 years after nuclear war and is set in a post-apocalyptic Southern California. The protagonist, referred to as the Vault Dweller, is tasked with recovering a water chip in the Wasteland to replace the broken one in their underground shelter home, Vault 13. Afterwards, the Vault Dweller must thwart the plans of a group of mutants, led by a grotesque entity named the Master.

Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the showrunners on the Fallout TV series and are executive producing the series with Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios, James Altman of Bethesda Softworks, and Athena Wickham, Jonathan Nolan, and Lisa Joy of Kilter Films. Amazon Studios and Kilter Films are producing the series, in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Nolan and Joy developed the concept for TV, and Nolan directed the first three episodes.

Prime Video’s Fallout stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Walton Goggins (Justified), Xelia Mendes-Jones (Sans Comic), Aaron Moten (Father Stu), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys), Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers), and Annabel O’Hagan (Law & Order: SVU). Purnell’s character is Lucy, who has lived her entire life inside a subterranean vault, where every need and want has been satisfied while generations and generations await the day when it is safe to surface. When a crisis forces Lucy to venture above on a rescue mission, she finds that the planet above remains a hellscape crawling with giant insects, voracious mutant animal “abominations,” and a human population of sunbaked miscreants who make the manners, morals, and hygiene of the gunslinging Old West look like Downton Abbey.

Joining the cast for Fallout season 2 are Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals) and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, who will be playing the recurring role of “a crazy genius-type character.”

It’s been an eventful year for pop star Taylor Swift. The world saw the famous lovelorn girl-next-door singer finally get engaged to Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs (who can also be seen in Netflix’s recent Happy Gilmore 2), and she also dropped her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released in tandem with a movie about the album. The tie-in movie event won its opening weekend by a wide margin while Dwayne Johnson’s big dramatic turn in The Smashing Machine got KO’ed by it.

Disney+ announced the release of a new six-episode docuseries on the last show of Swift’s much-publicized Eras Tour and will start to stream on December 12. The streamer has just dropped a new trailer for the in-depth documentary that follows the tour and all the people in Swift’s life during the tour.

Rowan Atkinson returns with a new entry in his Man Vs ____ series after the premiere of his hit, Man Vs Bee. Netflix has now released the trailer to the follow-up series Man Vs Baby. This entry will run for four episodes at a length of half an hour and is set to premiere on December 11, just in time to enjoy around the holidays. This time, as indicated by the title, Atkinson’s character finds himself at the whim of a toddler who happened upon him and now he must contend with the little one over the holidays.

“After a job looking after a high-tech mansion ended in disaster thanks to an irritating insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor Bingley (Rowan Atkinson) has left the stressful world of housesitting for the quieter life of a school caretaker. That is, until a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist. But on the last day of term, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion. Atkinson is joined by Alanah Bloor, who is known for Sandokan, Waves, and will play Maddy. Oriel Bathurst will be playing a “principal character” in the new series. Ashley Jensen, whose credits include Shetland and Extras, will play Janet. Sunetra Sarker, whose resume includes The Game and Ackley Bridge, is cast in the show as Georgia Hakopian, and Claudie Blakley, whom you may know from Father Brown and Lark Rise to Candleford will have a role in the series as Jess.

This entry of the series comes from creators Rowan Atkinson and Will Davies. Chris Clark and Davies are on board serving as executive producers of the project. Kate Fasulo will be taking on the role of the series producer and David Kerr is helming the new installments as the show’s director. A lot of secret agents are known to let the stresses of their job make them explode, but as Tom Hiddleston says in the teaser trailer for The Night Manager season 2, “I will not explode.” The Prime Video series is ready to kick off another season with six episodes that will start streaming with the first three episodes debuting on Sunday, January, 11, 2026. Amazon has just dropped the new teaser trailer to see what the fans have in store for this continuation.

It’s been three months since Disney teased us with an honest look at Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. Still, today, a new trailer for upcoming episodes reveals much about the action, monsters, and danger heading our way. Prepare yourselves to clash swords with old friends, outrun the Kraken, stare into the eye of a cyclops, and tempt the three fates, all while searching for Grover! The new season premieres with a two-episode launch on December 10, 2025.

The second season of the fantasy series is based on The Sea of Monsters, the second installment of the book series by Rick Riordan. The logline reads: “After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp — the Golden Fleece. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival is crucial in the fight to stop Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood — and ultimately, Olympus.”

Podcast episodes will be available to watch on Disney+ or listen to on various podcast platforms. A new podcast episode will be available after each new episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premieres.

There will be one big change when Percy Jackson and the Olympians return to our screens. The first season featured the late Lance Reddick as Zeus. It was announced last year that Courtney B. Vance would be stepping in to replace him. “I can’t tell you how excited I am to join the extraordinary cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” Vance said. “There are few moments in an actor’s career when you can honestly say that you’re about to board a series that has such a devoted fan base filled with characters beloved around the world and is based on a wildly successful book series. I know that stepping into this role of Zeus will be a memorable experience and I’ll be giving my brother, Lance Reddick, who left us way too soon, a heavenly hug.”

It’s Agent Scully vs. Cersei Lannister in the Wild, Wild West! Netflix has just released the trailer to the new gritty western series, The Abandons. The show comes from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter and the streamer has ordered eight episodes for the first season, which is set to premiere on December 4.

The show sports a big cast that includes Lena Headey, Gillian Anderson, Nick Robinson, Diana Silvers,  Lamar Johnson, Natalia del Riego, Lucas Till, Aisling Franciosi, Toby Hemingway, Michael Greyeyes, Ryan Hurst, Katelyn Wells, Clayton Cardenas, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers, Brían F. O’Byrne, Marc Menchaca, Patton Oswalt, Michael Ornstein, Jonathan Koensgen, Jack Doolan, Michiel Huisman, Haig Sutherland and Sarah White.

The official synopsis from Netflix reads,
“Washington Territory – 1854 – The matriarchs of two very different families — one of wealth and privilege bound by blood, the other a found family of orphans and outcasts bound by love and necessity — find their fates linked by two crimes, an awful secret, a star-crossed love, and a piece of land with silver underneath. The collision echoes the American struggle of the haves and have-nots, in a place just beyond the reach of justice.”

The executive producers on the series include Chris Keyser, Robert Askins, Stephen Surjik, Otto Bathurst, Emmy Grinwis, Jon Paré. Keyser told Tudum, “This first chapter of The Abandons is a classic American story — the frontier, two families both at war and in love with each other, [and] a battle over who owns the land and who makes the rules. In the middle of murder and revenge and a bit of illicit romance, we get to explore questions we never seem to get away from: What makes a family? How do you stay good in a bad world? And would you change who you are and what you believe in to protect what you love? But in this case, we do it all through the eyes of Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson, as two widowed matriarchs battling to survive. And that … is really something to watch.”

Charles Newendyke (Ted Danson) is off to college in the new trailer for A Man on the Inside Season 2! Debuting on Netflix on November 20, the latest season of Michael Schur‘s cozy detective series features Charles going undercover as a college professor to discover who is blackmailing the university president of Wheeler College. Along his journey into the shadows, Charles enlists the help of his friends from the Pacific View Retirement Community—Calbert (Stephen McKinley Henderson), Virginia (Sally Struthers), Elliott (John Getz), and Grant (Clyde Kusatsu)—though some fail to recognize the severity of their circumstances.

Eager to take on another big undercover case, Charles Nieuwendyk (Ted Danson) gets his chance when a mysterious blackmailer targets Wheeler College president Jack Berenger (Max Greenfield), who enlists Charles to go undercover as a professor. Who’s making these threats? Does it have something to do with the iconoclastic billionaire Brad Vinick (Gary Cole), a Wheeler graduate, and his proposed donation to the school? Charles finds no shortage of possible suspects, but his attention gets diverted by free-spirited music teacher Mona (Mary Steenburgen), whose zest for life awakens feelings he thought he’d buried after the passing of his wife. Surprisingly, A Man on the Inside has become one of my most recent comfort watches. I’m as sentimental as they come in recent years, but there’s something about Charles Newendyke that I find refreshing and endearing. He leads each significant case with his heart as well as his head, never compromising his morals for long as he navigates the delicate task of keeping the truth from the people he comes to care about.
